The Organization
UMCASG has achieved steady growth since its inception in 2015. Start-up capital has been provided solely by its President and board of directors. Workshop expenses, and other relevant operational expenses have been funded through mini fundraisers and an Annual Fundraiser Dinner Event each October.
For the past three Tax years the organization has filed 990 returns to the IRS and is on schedule to file a similar return for 2019. In addition to being 501(C)3 certified, UMCASG is also Certified by The State of Florida to accept donations. Solicitation license #CH57560
It is estimated that the cost of providing services will increase substantially for Fiscal year 2020 due to anticipated additional service locations, increase in frequency of educational workshops, office space rental, operating & administrative expenses and other relevant expenses. United Managed Care do not receive any Government funding, therefore we rely solely on the generosity of your financial support in order to provide needed services.
UMCASG assist caregivers by providing temporary short-term respite for a caregiver to take time out to do shopping, run errands, doctor’s appointment or simply time to refresh. Caregivers are replaced by a certified assistant from a local Health Care Agency for a period of at least 4-hrs per assignment, paid for by United Managed Care Alzheimer’s Support Group.
